Building Effective Distributed Teams

Running a global technology company with main hubs in India, Dubai, Riyadh, and the USA teaches you one thing very quickly: geography is irrelevant, but culture is everything.

The Sun Never Sets

One of our greatest advantages is the "follow-the-sun" model. When our US team logs off, our Indian engineers are logging in. This allows for 24-hour development cycles and instant support responses. However, this only works if handovers are seamless. We mandate overlapping hours—usually a golden window of 2-3 hours—where teams can sync live.

Over-Communications is Key

In a physical office, you pick up context by osmosis. Remote, that vanishes. We encourage "working out loud" in public Slack channels rather than DMs. If a decision isn't documented in Confluence or Jira, it didn't happen.

Trust, Not Surveillance

We do not use keystroke loggers or screen monitoring software. We hire adults. We measure output, not hours. If a developer delivers clean code on time, it does not matter if they did it at 2 AM or 2 PM. This autonomy builds immense loyalty and ownership.
